Police have released a video message in a bid to reach out to the mother of a newborn baby who was found in a carrier bag in Leeds a year ago today.

West Yorkshire Police are still yet to identify the mother of the baby boy who was pronounced dead at hospital after being found outside the vicarage of St Peter’s Church in Bramley on November 23 2016 at about 9am.

Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Bryar has recorded a personal message to the baby’s mother in the hope that she can be traced.
