A 44-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder after a mother-of-one was stabbed to death at the supermarket where she worked.
Jodie Willsher, suffered multiple injuries after being stabbed in an aisle at an Aldi store in Skipton, North Yorkshire at 3.27pm on Thursday December 21, 2017.
She was taken by ambulance to Airedale General Hospital for emergency treatment where she later died.
Neville Hord of Great Horton Road in Bradford appeared before magistrates in York this morning where he was remanded in custody.
The 44-year-old stood in the dock flanked by two security officers for the hearing which lasted three minutes. He spoke only to give his name and confirm his date-of-birth and address.
Hord was told he will appear again at Leeds Crown Court on December 28.
Tributes to the 30-year-old have flooded in following the news of her death. Mrs Willsher's husband described her as "lovely and warm", and always having a smile on her face.
He said: "She was amazing, beautiful and a lovely person. She was a doting mother and a loving wife.”
