A bereaved husband from South Yorkshire is calling for tougher sentences after his wife was killed when a van driver smashed into the back of their car at 60 miles an hour - while he was on two mobile phones.
Peter Nile, from Rotherham, lost his wife Margaret in the crash on the A1 near Newark three years ago.
Robert Munce from Grimsby - was jailed for four years three months.
Peter wants the courts and classrooms to do more to tackle the problem of distracted driving.
"He'd just logged on to the internet seconds before he hit us. He was coming so fast I don't remember him hitting the car", said Peter Nile.
