Thousands raised for Hull brain injury charity as local hero joins abseil

Dozens of people have abseiled down one of Hull's tallest buildings to raise money for a local charity that helps people with brain injuries.

'Paul for Brain Recovery' was set up by Paul Spence, who was seriously injured in an attack at a pub.

He was joined at the K2 building by local hero Jason Fanthorpe - the window cleaner who recently stepped in to help save Hull's Banksy mural after it was splashed with white paint.

Jason said people had been offering to buy him a drink to thank him for his efforts, but he would prefer them to donate to the charity.
