Dozens of dogs have been removed from a Lincolnshire vets as part of an "intelligence-led operation".
Around 30 dog rescue vehicles and Dogs Trust ambulances descended on the 4 Paws Clinic in South Killingholme this morning at around 8.30am. Officers from Humberside Police and RSPCA workers also attended.
Around 100 dogs were checked over by vets but officers have yet to disclose the nature of their investigation and no arrests have been made.
The 4 Paws Clinic was set up 12 years ago to offer low cost services for pets, boarding kennels and a dog and rescue adoption service.
