More than 77,000 people relying on food banks across region

More than 77,000 people across Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire were given emergency supplies from food banks last year.

The charity says the number of people being given emergency supplies was up 12 per cent on the previous year, with low income and problems getting benefits the main reasons people gave.
