A 15 year old girl from Wakefield is in desperate need of a kidney transplant to start treatment with a life-saving drug.
Abi Longfellow from Wakefield was originally denied the eculizumab drug before over 200,000 people signed a petition to the government to change their policy.
Abi's family are now asking for help to find a transplant match following a two-year battle the drug that will improve her chances of survival.
Members of the public were asked to phone St James's Hospital in a bid to find a potential donor.
The number of calls has overwhelmed the hospital who are now asking for the public to go email the hospital rather than phoning.
