A former teacher who sexually assaulted three boys aged between seven and 13 has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Richard Anthony King, formerly of Sadler Street in Mansfield, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court having been found guilty of six sexual offences following a five-day trial.
The 70-year-old, who used to be a teacher at the Robin Hood Primary School in Mansfield, was arrested in August 2016 after a victim came forward and the investigation led to more victims being identified.
The court heard how King abused the three boys on several occasions in the late 70s and early 80s taking advantage of them on camping trips and getting them to sit on his knee before sexually assaulting them.
Police have praised King's victims for their courage in coming forward.
