A 19-year-old from South Yorkshire is fighting for his life after he was found seriously injured in a water-filled ditch.

A student from Barnsley is fighting for his life after being attacked in Manchester. He was attacked in Platt Fields Park on Tuesday and discovered in a ditch. He's been named as 19 year-old Daniel Whiteley.
