A teenager from Rotherham who was left without a voice after thieves stole his talking machine, is to get a new one.
Declan's getting his voice back
Declan Gould, from Thrybergh in Rotherham, was left without a voice after the electronic device he uses to speak was stolen by thieves. Declan has cerebral palsy, and his computer talker was his main means of communication.
Today, his dad Jon has thanked Calendar for helping Declan get his voice back.
Today, following a meeting between staff at the NHS and Rotherham Council, it's been agreed that they will buy him a new speaking device. It will be delivered to his school next week/
