Planned energy hub
A Siemens factory is being planned for the city's Alexandra Dock - and will create 700 jobs if it goes ahead. The council says the scheme should go ahead but the Environment Agency has objected to the plans saying they may result in Hull, Grimsby and Immingham facing an increased risk of flooding.
Renewable hub considered
