Royal visit to flood hit areas

Prince Charles visits flood areas to see what help can be provided to help them recover.

Prince Charles visits Hebden Bridge

There are flood alerts in place across the region, including along the River Calder running through Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd.

They were flooded out just two weeks ago and Prince Charles has been to Hebden Bridge today to see for himself the aftermath and the threat that's coming. Tina Gelder reports.


Prince Charles to visit flood hit town

As the bad weather continues Prince Charles is due in the region to meet people affected by recent flooding.

He will be in Hebden Bridge visiting homes and businesses, which were damaged. He will be accompanied by representatives from his charity Business in the Community to see how the Business Emergency Recovery Group can help local companies to recover from the damage caused by the floods.
