Race for Life events postponed

Race for Life events due to take place in Lincoln and Huddersfield this weekend have been postponed due to forecasted heavy rain. The decision has been taken because of health and safety concerns.

We are very sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience caused by the last-minute postponement of Race for Life events in Huddersfield and Lincoln. We hope everyone understands why we have had to do it. We are currently doing our utmost to reschedule this event at a later date.

Cliffhanger Festival cancelled

Sheffield's outdoor pursuits event, Cliffhanger Festival, has been cancelled due to the weather.

Unfortunately, following all the recent rainfall and the forecast for more heavy rain over the next few days, we have been forced to take the decision to cancel this weekend’s Cliffhanger event at Graves Park. However, the British Bouldering Championships will still be going ahead in the big top marquee this weekend. We are disappointed to have to make this decision, as we know that many people were looking forward to the event, but staff and public safety must always be our main concern in these cases.
