Queen visits Leeds
Security will be tight in the centre of Leeds today ahead of a visit by the Queen. Her Majesty will visit the city's new arena before meeting the construction workers.
The day the Queen came to Leeds
They had waited ten long years for it - but when it came the people of West Yorkshire turned out in their thousands for the Queen's first official visit to the city of Leeds for a decade. She had not been to the city since her Golden Jubilee in 2002.
She is now celebrating sixty years on the throne of course. But while the Queen was the centre of attention it was one young poet who almost stole the show. This report from Chris Kiddey
