The head of a homelessness charity in Lincoln says she fears the problem could get worse over the next 12 months. Brenda Shiels says economic downturns take time to have an effect on families' living arrangements but they are now seeing the effects of the current recession.
A former soldier from Lincolnshire who has spent the past five months in accommodation provided by a homelessness charity says finding himself without anywhere to live left him a broken man. With the support of the Nomad Trust Mark Thomson is now hoping to move into his own home again tomorrow.
