A complete ban on children leaving secondary schools at lunch-time could be introduced across South Yorkshire. It's hoped the proposals will improve youngsters' health and stop them snacking on junk food.

The move comes as new figures show the number of obese 11 and 12-year-olds living in the area is higher than national average.
