Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust gets some good news
A hospital trust which came under fire for inefficiency has had some good news.
A survey done on behalf of the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has shown patients believe the A&E departments have improved.
Out of 275 people who took part, 98% of patients said the department was clean or very clean, 93% praised doctors and nurses for working well together and 90% rated reception staff as excellent, very good or good.
The trust recently caused outrage after announcing it was losing £100,000 a day through inefficiency. Pontefract's A&E department was also forced to close overnight until September.
