Christmas lights switch-ons
Thousands of people have turned out for events right across our region to celebrate the switching on of Christmas lights displays.
Sheffield Children's Hospital lights switch-on
Reality TV stars will help brighten up Sheffield's Children's Hospital tonight.
X-Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan, from Sheffield, and Strictly Come Dancing stars Michael Vaughan and Natalie Lowe will turn on the Christmas lights.
Christmas lights switch-on
The Christmas lights are going to be switched-on in more of our region's towns and cities later.
They will be turned on in Harrogate and York. In Hull Olympic boxing champion Luke Campbell will doing the honours and our very own Jon Mitchell will be in Lincoln.

Christmas has officially arrived in Sheffield. Two X Factor winners have helped to welcome in the festive season and our reporter James Webster was there as well:
Matt Cardle: Ella Henderson's voice is incredible
X Factor 2010 winner Matt Cardle was one of the big names on the stage at the Sheffield Christmas lights switch on. He performed his new single and caught up with us backstage where he told us he thinks Ella Henderson from Tetney near Grimsby has an incredible singing voice.
Joe McElderry: I'm really happy with my new album
Joe McElderry topped the bill at this year's Christmas lights switch on in Sheffield. The 2009 X Factor winner performed several songs including his first hit 'The Climb'. Backstage he told us about his new album and single as well as what he makes of this year's contestants on the reality TV show.
