The floodwaters are finally going down in the East Yorkshire village of Burton Fleming which has been submerged for ten days.
But now residents' hopes that they might finally be able to start the clean up are being dampened by the prospect of yet more bad weather on the way.
Flooding has been continuing to cause problems across North Yorkshire today, with no obvious signs of water receding soon. Chris Kiddey spent the day following events.

Roads are closed in the region tonight with flood warnings still in place in Yorkshire. Some householders in East and North Yorkshire have suffered a miserable Christmas period either mopping up or waiting for the next deluge.
Villagers in Burton Fleming near Bridlington are breathing a sigh of relief as floodwaters begin to recede this afternoon. The village has been under water since Christmas Eve when a local beck burst it's banks. Chris Kiddey reports.
There are 14 flood alerts in North Yorkshire alone today, with the River Ouse particularly badly affected. Meanwhile, in the village of Burton Fleming near Bridlington in East Yorkshire, villagers are preparing for more floods as river levels are expected to peak later.
