"Riley was a bubbly, happy child" say family

Riley Turner

Riley Turner's family have thanked those who have supported them following the four-year-old's death last week. He was found at his home in Keighley on January 20.

Releasing a picture of Riley for the first time, the family said: “We would like to thank members of the Keighley community for their support and kind wishes.

“Riley was a bubbly, happy child and loved dearly by his family.”

32-year-old Anwar Rosser was arrested and has since been charged with his murder. He will appear at Bradford Crown Court in April for a plea hearing.

School says 4-year-old Riley Turner will be "sadly missed'

Firstly we would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family of Riley at this time. He has attended Worth Valley Primary School’s Reception class since September and has become a well liked member of the class.

Riley was a lively and enthusiastic boy with a cheeky sense of humour. After taking time to get to know us he was beginning to show his own personality.

He will be sadly missed by the children and staff.
