Breaking: Man charged over pensioner murder

A man has been charged with murder over the death of a Bradford man who was found stabbed at his home.

Clement Desmier's body was found at his home in Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe, on Thursday August 23.

A 63 year old man arrested on Saturday is to appear before Bradford Magistrates later this morning accused of Mr Desmier's murder.

Five men have been arrested over the weekend on suspicion of the murder of 68 year old Clement Desmier. He was found at his home in Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe, on Thursday August 23. Mr Desmier, a former musician who was known as Butch, had been stabbed more than 40 times.

A 63 year old man was arrested on Saturday and two 19 year old men, a 22 year old man and a 52 year old man were arrested on Sunday. All currently remain in custody and are being questioned by detectives.
