Tickets for Bruce Springsteen's gig at Leeds Arena sold out in under 10 minutes.
More than 200 people - some who had queued since 9pm last night - waited for the pop up box office to open at Leeds Town Hall.
‘The Boss’ will play the £60m venue on Wednesday, July 24. It had been thought Sir Elton John’s previously-announced show in September would be the first at the 13,500-capacity arena.
But the venue decided to arrange a one-off ‘pre-opening’ date when Springsteen made a special request to play there.
Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be performing at Leeds Arena on Wednesday July 24, ahead of the venue's official opening in September. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9.00am.
The show will be a special one-off performance as part of his ongoing ‘Wrecking Ball’ world tour.
