A month on since former policeman David Leman went missing while walking his dog, police say they have only had four or five reports of sightings of him. The 51-year-old disappeared on Skegness beach. This morning, officers have been back to the beach to hand out leaflets.
They are also concerned that the discovery of the body of another man near Gibraltar Point has led people to believe that the search has been called off.
Lincolnshire police are handing out leaflets on Skegness beach today, in a renewed attempt to find David Leman who disappeared exactly a month ago. 51-year-old David was out walking on the beach near to Gibraltar Point with his dog Millie when he went missing.
Millie was found later that day with her lead still attached. Police would particularly like to hear from any dog walkers who may have seen David a the time. He is described as mixed race, approximately six foot tall. It is thought he was wearing jeans and a hooded jacket when he disappeared.
