A post mortem examination carried out on the body of 23-year-old Dominic Elliott at Hull Royal Infirmary mortuary showed no obvious natural causes for his death. Mr Elliott was a studio assistant for world renowned artist David Hockney.
Further tests will now be carried out, the results of which will not be known for some weeks. Mr Elliott's family has been fully updated by Humberside Police.
A studio assistant to the world renowned artist David Hockney has died after being taken to hospital from the painter's home in Bridlington.
23-year-old Dominic Elliot died in the early hours of Sunday morning and Humberside police has launched an investigation.

HUMBERSIDE Police were contacted by Scarborough General Hospital, shortly after 0600hrs yesterday morning (Sunday 17 March ), after a Bridlington man had been taken to the hospital by a friend in a serious condition.
The 23-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at hospital and the police notified.
The circumstances of the man's death are not clear and officers are currently undertaking enquiries to establish events leading to his death.
There were no signs of violence and a post mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow (Tuesday 19 March) which is hoped may provide further information.
