John Batty from north Derbyshire has suffered from kidney disease since he was a child. His father donated a kidney 15 years ago, and when it began to fail recently, his sister stepped in to help.
John Batty, from Dronfield in north Derbyshire, has a lot to thank his family for after receiving not one but two new kidneys from family members.
Fifteen years ago it was John's dad Colin who first donated a kidney to his son after John's kidney's began to fail and he needed dialysis. But recently when that kidney too began to fail it was his sister Jane who this time stepped forward and offered to donate.
