Police are appealing for information after a 26-year-old man crashed his car into a tree at Undercliffe near Bradford. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police name fatal crash victim

Police have named the 26-year-old man who died when the car he was driving crashed into a tree in Bradford. He was Mohammed Rabnawz Sultan. The accident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning on Queens Road at Undercliffe.

Mr Sultan was treated at the scene for his injuries but died a short time later. Anyone who witnessed the accident is urged to contact police.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic crash in Bradford. It happened around 12.30am today when a Volkswagen Passat left the carriageway in Queens Road in Undercliffe and collided with a tree.

The driver, a 26-year-old Bradford man, was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later. He was travelling in the direction of King's Road when the accident.
