It's the subs bench for One Direction's Louis Tomlinson this evening at Doncaster Rover's Keepmoat Stadium. He was due to play his first competitive match for Rovers Reserves against Scunthorpe United Reserves.

But he had to pull out after failing to recover from a tackle from Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor during another charity match earlier this month. The boyband star signed for Rovers as a non-contract player last month and was given squad number 28.

He used to work at the Keepmoat Stadium on matchdays before finding fame with the group through The X Factor. And he is now raising money for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice through the club. He's already tweeted of his disappointment at not being able to play tonight.
