It's feared up to 10 tonnes of contaminated meat has been sold by a suspected illegal food processing plant in Bradford. West Yorkshire Lamb, Beef and Poultry limited was raided last month by the Police and officers from the Food Standards Agency.

A search is on for the boss of a suspected illegal food factory in Bradford which it's feared sold a staggering 10 tonnes of contaminated meat into the market.

For five days West Yorkshire Lamb, Beef and Poultry limited was trading from a unit on an industrial estate in the city. It's been shut down by the city council for hygiene reasons.

But the owner of the business is still at large and the Council is still investigating who bought the meat and where it's gone.

West Yorkshire Lamb, Beef and Poultry lLmited was raided last month by the Police and officers from the Food Standards Agency. They are still hunting the owner of the business and are urging caterers who bought any meat to destroy it for hygiene reasons.
