'Machete' attacker in court
A man charged with the murder of Parvaiz Hussain Iqbal has appeared in court.
Naeem Mehmood, 27, of Herringthorpe Vally Road, in Rotherham was remanded in custody at Rotherham Magistrates Court this morning. He is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday 1 November. He is also charged with the attempted murder of another man.
Emergency services were called to a shop in Grosvenor Road, Eastwood, just after 2pm on Tuesday where 40-year-old Mr Iqbal's body was found.
A second man, a 40-year-old from Sheffield, was also found seriously injured at the scene. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

'Machete' attack: Man charged with murder
A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Rotherham man Parvaiz Hussain Iqbal.
Naeem Mahmood of Herringthorpe Valley Road, in Rotherham, is accused of murdering the 40-year-old on Tuesday in a shop in Grosvenor Road, Eastwood.
He is due to appear at Rotherham Magistrates' Court today.

A man, who was killed yesterday in a suspected machete attack in Rotherham has been named locally as Parvaiz Iqbal.
Mr Iqbal died following the attack, which is thought to have happened in a shop in the Eastwood area yesterday. A second man was seriously injured during the incident inGrosvenor Road.
A 27 year old man is being questioned by police on suspicion of murder.
