A woman from Lincoln, whose baby was born a heroin addict, has spoken out to try and help other drug users give up the habit for good.
Corraine Casey's daughter had to undergo four weeks of treatment to get the heroin out of her system. Corraine's been clean of drugs for 11 years, and is now working to help other addicts change their lives.
She says the birth of her baby was a wake-up call.
A mother from Lincoln, who was addicted to heroin when pregnant and whose baby was born a heroin addict, has spoken out to try and help others.
Corraine Casey is working with NACRO to try and become a peer mentor - and will then use her experiences to try and help drug users try and kick the habit. Corraine, has now been off drugs herself for more than 11 years.
