The funeral of a teenager killed in a road accident takes place today.
Koen Allwood was walking with a friend - who's still in hospital - when he was hit on Damn Road in Barton.
Police are appealing for a couple - believed to be from Eastern Europe - who were seen at the scene shortly afterwards to come forward as witnesses.
Police investigating the death of a teenager who was killed after being hit by a car are looking for two new witnesses.
Koen Allwood, 15, died after he was hit on Dam Road in Barton, Lincolnshire, at around 10.50pm on Wednesday November 13. A 15-year-old girl Koen was walking with was seriously injured and is still in hospital.
Today, a Humberside Police spokeswoman said: “As part of the enquiry police would like to trace a couple who may have witnessed the collision.
“A neighbour reported observing a man and a woman in the area very soon after the incident, who were speaking in a language described as being of Eastern European origin."
A man arrested in connection with the police inquiry has been released on police bail.
Koen’s funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church in Barton tomorrow.

"He leaves behind a 12-year-old brother who thought the world of him and a family and community left in devastation. His last selfless act was to walk his friend 500 metres home - a thing he'd done so many times before.
"This is the kind of gentleman he was. I want to say he was my baby and a part of me has been destroyed forever"

Humberside Police have released the two 23-year-olds arrested following the collision on Dam Road late on Wednesday night. Koen Allwood, who was 15 and crossing the road with a friend, died in hospital from his injuries. The 15-year-old girl is still being treated at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Police say one man has been released with no further action to be taken. The other has been released on police bail whilst further inquiries are carried out.

A school spokesman said: "Any loss of life is tragic. When it comes at such a young age it is even harder to accept. This was a popular young man with a bright future, our thoughts go to his friends and family. We are all in a state of shock as we try to come to terms with what has happened.
"We are working with the young man's closest friends to identify how best to commemorate his young life. Our thoughts are also with the girl involved who remains in hospital. Clearly there is a lot of sadness within the school and we would request to be left alone to deal with this."
A teenager has died after an accident late last night on Dam Road close to the junction with Humber Road, Barton upon Humber.
Police say a blue Peugeot 306 was involved in a collision with a 15-year-old boy and girl who were crossing the road. Both were seriously injured.
One of the teenagers died, the second is being treated at Hull Royal Infirmary. The 23-year-old man driving the Peugeot was uninjured.
