A murder inquiry has been launched after the body of a man was found in Sheffield.
The body was discovered at around 6:30am this morning in Birley Spa Lane.
South Yorkshire Police say the victim is a local man in his 30s. His family has been informed.

"I am satisfied from the evidence of the scene that this man has died in suspicious circumstances and he may have been the victim of an assault.
"The area where the body has been found is highly populated and it is possible that someone may have seen something that could prove vital to our inquiry.
"I would urge anyone with information, no matter how insignificant they think it is, to call police immediately."
An area around a school has been sealed off in Sheffield following the discovery of a man's body this morning.
The cordon is up around Rainbow Forge School in Hackenthorpe, but the school remains open.
The man's death is being treated as suspicious.
