A minute's silence will be held across the country today to mark the first anniversary of the Tunisia beach attack. Six people from our region were among 30 Britons killed by a gunman near the town of Sousse last year.

Humberside police officers to fall silent to mark 1st anniversary of Tunisia attack

Humberside Police force - alongside colleagues from across the country - will fall silent today at 11.59am to mark the first anniversary of the terror attack in Tunisia.

The six victims from our region

Officers and staff will observe one minute's silence as they pay their respects to the 38 people - six of who were from the Calendar region - who were killed during the massacre.

Terror group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
