The Bradford Bulls player Adrian Purtell says he will mark his recovery from a heart attack by playing in the very same match which was the scene of his major health scare last year.
Today, ahead of the Rugby League showcase, the 28 year old has been reflecting on the past 12 months - returning to the hospital in Leeds where his life was saved. Tina Gelder reports.

Bradford Bulls star Adrian Purtell is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack just a few hours after he'd played against the Leeds Rhinos at the weekend.
The twenty seven year old Australian complained of feeling unwell after the game and received treatment from the club's medical staff on the journey home. He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he underwent surgery and is expected to remain in hospital for the rest of the week.
