A man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a 12 year old boy who he ran down near his school in Bradford. Bilal Khizar was knocked down and killed as he crossed Rooley Lane on October 6, last year.
At Bradford Crown Court, Zain Khan, 21, pleaded guilty to five counts including causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after an accident.

The funeral ceremony of Bilal Khizar, the Bradford Academy pupil tragically killed on Saturday, 6 October 2012 in Bradford, will be held today at Parkside Community Centre.
The family will be welcoming both Bilal's closest classmates from Bradford Academy, including his home team and core class pupils, as well as hundreds of friends and family from the community around the Bowling Park area of Bradford.
The ceremony at the community centre will celebrate Bilal and his all-too-short life before the family takes the body to the local mosque for prayers prior to burial.
