Police appeal for missing man spotted in Skipton laundrette

Police are appealing for help to find a man missing from his home in Blackpool, who is thought to have been spotted in a laundrette in Skipton.

Andrew Howard, who is 54, disappeared on Tuesday December 15.

He is described as 5ft 7ins, medium build and has short dark brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a red 'Weird Fish' waterproof jacket black shoes and a divers watch.

It is out of character for Andrew to go missing and we are getting very concerned about him. I would urge anyone who has seen him to contact us with any information as soon as possible.

Police search for man believed to be in Halifax

Police are appealing for information about a 33-year-old man from Blackpool who has been missing for more than a week.

Jonathan Knight is thought to be in Halifax

Jonathan Knight was last seen by family members on Daggers Hall Lane around 6pm on Sunday 15 June, but they have not heard from him since.

It is believed that Jonathan may be in the Halifax area of West Yorkshire and police are appealing for anybody who knows where he is to come forward.

Sergeant Richard Frith said: “The longer Jonathan fails to make contact with his family the more concerned we are becoming.

“If anybody has had any contact with Jonathan recently or knows of his current whereabouts then please contact us.”

Skeggy accused of "dirty tricks" campaign

Skegness has been accused of staging a dirty tricks campaign against rival seaside resorts by publishing adverts showing Brighton and Blackpool riddled with graffiti. East Lindsay Council came up with the ads to promote an arts festival in Skegness later this month.

These pictures were meant to appear in local papers in Blackpool and Brighton today, but they refused to run them.
