Bradford City football team will be in many people's thoughts as they head to Wembley to take on Swansea in the Capital One League Cup Final.

To help them on their way, Canon Andrew Williams, at Bradford Cathedral wrote this prayer.

Lord of all people and Maker of all

We give thanks for the beautiful game, for football.

As two sides compete for the Capital One Cup

We don't ask for favour, we don't ask for luck.

We ask for The Bantams to put up a good fight

To make Bradford proud and it's people unite.

Without causing a drama or making a fuss

The Tibetan spiritual leader has pronounced blessing on us

He knows what your Son has said in the past

That the last shall be first and the first shall be last.

So Lord of all people and Maker of all

May the winner at Wembley be the game of football. Amen
