Friends, family and showbiz stars paid their final tributes to Grumbleweeds star Graham Walker.Graham, who was sixty eight, died last week after a two year fight against cancer. Hundreds turned out at his funeral at Bramhope near Leeds. Graham's been described as a comic genius.
An historic bridge at a Leeds beauty spot has been closed off to visitors after part of it collapsed.
The gapping hole in the 100-year-old bridge at Golden Acre Park in Bramhope was spotted yesterday. Leeds City Council have now closed the bridge for fears over public safety.
Residents of Bramhope, near Leeds, have welcomed the sudden and mysterious appearance of a "Gold" postbox in their village, in honour of the Brownlee brothers.
Some people - and obviously the person behind this artwork - are annoyed that the nearby village of Horsforth is home to the official Gold postbox to celebrate Alistair Brownlee's Gold Medal.
The brothers were born and spent their early years in Horsforth but now live in Bramhope. The painting of the postbox by an anonymous fan and display of Union Jacks has been welcomed by residents.
