Leeds head coach Dave Hockaday insists his players did not let him down after last night's defeat to Bradford City.
United's West Yorkshire rivals head through to the third round, but Hockaday's Leeds side have had a less positive start to the season.
The head coach is defiant that his team will turn their fortunes around:
Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson says his team were inspired to make history and beat Leeds for the first time in eighty years at Valley Parade.
The Bantams last beat their West Yorkshire rivals on home turf in 1986, but that was at Odsal following the Valley Parade fire the previous year.
Parkinson said his team deserved the victory:

Massimo Cellino appeared to suggest he would sack the former Forest Green man after a 4-1 defeat to Watford at the weekend and left before the final whistle of last night's 2-1 loss at Valley Parade.
Chris Dawkes asked the Leeds head coach if he feared for his position:
All our teams have been given away ties in the Capital One Cup third round.
Bradford's reward for overcoming Leeds is a trip to Stadium MK to face the Dons who beat Manchester United 4-0 in the shock result of round two.
Stuart Gray's Sheffield Wednesday team have been drawn against modern-day galacticos, Manchester City while the Blades head to Leyton Orient who beat Aston Villa 1-0.
Doncaster Rovers play Fulham at Craven Cottage and Hull City travel to the Hawthorns to play fellow Premiership side West Brom.
