A mother from Leeds has been describing her ordeal, after giving birth to her baby daughter in the car park of a hospital. Dean and Ania Martin had been turned away from one maternity ward because it was full - but did not make it across the city to another hospital in time.
By the time they arrived, Mrs Martin was already giving birth. She was helped by a doctor in the hospital reception who saw what was going on
The new arrival, yet to be named, weighed in at a healthy 6lb 9oz. But her parents say it could have turned out so very different.
