Police have confirmed that an incident at a Royal Mail sorting office in Sheffield is not suspicious.
The parcel involved contained industrial beauty products. Residents on Homestead Road are now able to return to their homes.
The Hazardous Area Response Team, which includes and ambulance and rapid response vehicle, were assisting with the operation.

Fire crews were called to a Royal Mail sorting office this morning. Four fire engines are there as they investigate the discovery of a parcel suspected to contain hazardous substances.
A number of houses on Homestead Road have been evacuated as a precaution. Emergency teams are expected to be at the sorting office until this afternoon.
