A larger than life nativity play complete with real camels, sheep, and a baby Jesus played by a girl has taken to the streets of Hull this afternoon. It's the second year the live nativity has been organised by the city's Holy Trinity Church, as Jon Hill reports.

The trip to Lapland was particularly special for all those from the charity When You Wish Upon A Star who had organised it. Spokesperson Joanne Heywood says she enjoyed listening to the children as they spoke to Father Christmas:
Emmerdale star John Middleton says going to Lapland with a plane full of children who have all had difficult medical problems to deal with was magical. The actor, who plays Ashley Thomas, had never been on the trip before and says it was great seeing the children enjoying themselves:
Actress and Loose Women star Denise Welch has been on the trip to Lapland several times before. She says watching the parents strength in the face of the medical problems their children have faced always moves her to tears:
Bhaskar Patel plays Rishi Sharma in Emmerdale. He was one of the celebrities invited to spend the day with the children on the trip. Speaking at the Arctic Circle he told us the whole experience had left him lost for words:
Actress Lauren Drummond who plays Nurse Lane in Holby City joined the trip. She says the charity that organises it often invites TV stars along to make it more special, but the only person the children really want to meet is Father Christmas:
