The Alhambra Theatre in Bradford is sprinkling panto magic so local deaf children SHALL go to the ball. The cast of Cinderella, led by comedian Billy Pearce, are putting on a special performance for them on Sunday January 27th.
It's the third sign language Interpreted performance that the Alhambra has provided for this year's panto and this has been specially provided for children and their families from The Leeds Deaf Children's Society. Louise McNamara, Secretary for society said:
"Many deaf children in the Leeds area attend mainstream schools and don't always get to meet up with other deaf or hearing impaired children, which can be isolating for them and their families.
The deaf friendly events we provide are vital so that children and their families can meet, chat and share experiences. Bringing children to the Alhambra Theatre panto is the biggest event in our calendar."
