The first of five infamous tower blocks in Hull has been demolished. Five of the run down tower blocks in Orchard Park will go in total as part of a 15 million pound improvement. 215 homes will also be developed.

Church Demolition
Campaigners are speaking out against the demolition of St Peter's Church in Stanley. The 18th Century church closed a decade ago because of structural damage. Now it's crumbling away, and with repair costs too expensive, Church commissioners plan to knock down the Grade II listed building.
The Diocese of Wakefield has been trying to secure a new use for the original building, but not succeeded. A meeting will be held on Monday to discuss the proposal of the two hundred year old church
