The future of hospitals in parts of West Yorkshire will be debated as a major review of clinical services gets underway. Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust which runs Pontefract, Pinderfields and Dewsbury hospitals wants to save 24 million pounds.
A warning notice about a West Yorkshire hospital has been lifted.
The Care Quality Commission had issued one to maternity services at Dewsbury and District Hospital focused on how it is staffed.
The CQC visited the hospital earlier this month and confirmed there are enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs.
“Our teams quickly acted with targeted action and can now better respond to high levels of demand in the service. All staff are aware of the processes that are in place to address any short staffing issues".
Stephen Eames, Interim Chief Executive of Dewsbury & District Hospital
