Lego thief strikes in Elland

A large amount of Lego has been stolen from a West Yorkshire business park.

It was taken from Ainley Bottom Business Park in Elland between 5pm yesterday and 4am today when an articulated lorry was broken into.

A total of 16 pallets of Chima Lego were taken with an approximate value of £40,000.

Physically moving such a large amount of Lego is something that would have appeared out of the ordinary and I am appealing for anyone who saw this incident to get in touch.

I would also urge people to be on the look out for the stolen goods. Lego is particularly topical at the moment with the film out and if you are offered for sale something that is too good to be true then it usually is.
