World-famous brass band Grimethorpe Colliery Band - who inspired and starred in the film Brassed Off! - have been handed a lifeline by Sheffield-based internet provider Plusnet.
They had been experiencing financial difficulties with their programme which provides lessons for children whose parents cannot afford to pay for lessons. Now they can continue to teach at a local school.
