Ambitious plans to restore an eight sail windmill in Lincolnshire, which is the only one of its kind in the country, have been approved.
Planners at North Kesteven District Council have backed a proposal to improve access to the landmark in Heckington and install new bakeries and a visitor centre.
The Friends of Heckington Windmill have already received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to pay for some of the work on the Grade 1 listed building. They now need to raise further money to turn the plans into reality.
