Bilal Khizar died at the weekend after being hit by a car that failed to stop on Rooley Lane.
The funeral ceremony of Bilal Khizar, the Bradford Academy pupil tragically killed on Saturday, 6 October 2012 in Bradford, will be held today at Parkside Community Centre.
The family will be welcoming both Bilal's closest classmates from Bradford Academy, including his home team and core class pupils, as well as hundreds of friends and family from the community around the Bowling Park area of Bradford.
The ceremony at the community centre will celebrate Bilal and his all-too-short life before the family takes the body to the local mosque for prayers prior to burial.

A man is being treated for head injuries after being a hit and run driver in Bradford.
The 45 year old was at the junction of Birch Street and Girlington Road on Tuesday 24 April when he was hit by an unknown vehicle just before 5pm.
He suffered leg and head injuries and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
