A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash which left a two-year-old boy and his 10-year-old sister fighting for their lives. The man is being questioned by police after Raham Saleem and his sister Sabam were knocked down on Saturday.
He has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident, West Yorkshire Police said. Officers say they have also recovered a car.
